CONSERVAZIONE DELLE RISORSE GENETICHE FORESTALI PER LA RIFORESTAZIONE DELLA PIANURA

Riassunto – la distruzione e frammentazione delle superfici boscate in pianura costituisce una causa rilevante dell’impoverimento del patrimonio genetico delle popolazioni e delle specie forestali. Allo stesso modo, una scarsa attenzione alla qualità genetica dei materiali di propagazione nell’uso destinato alla riforestazione ed alla riqualificazione conduce non solo a scarsi risultati negli impianti ma anche a significativi ed accertati fenomeni di inquinamento genetico. L’attenzione alla conservazione ed al buon uso delle risorse genetiche rappresenta quindi un’azione imprescindibile delle politiche di valorizzazione e ricostituzione di ecosistemi forestali.

Abstract – The conservation of genetic resources of the forest species for the reforestation of the Po Plain. Cutting and fragmentation of the woods into the Po Plain are a relevant causes of impoverishment of genetic resources of forest species. Similarly, a low attention to the genetic quality of the forest species used during the reforestation and the requalification of woods is ineffective and it can produce genetics pollution in the populations of forest native species. So, attention to the conservation of the native genetic resources is very important for conservation and reconstitution of forest ecosystems.
