I MOLLUSCHI DEI SEDIMENTI OLOCENICI DEL "SASSO DI MANERBA" MANERBA DEL GARDA (Brescia, Italia Settentrionale)

Riassunto - I sondaggi effettuati nel bacino interrato di origine lacustre, hanno evidenziato due livelli contenenti Molluschi acquatici e qualche specie terrestre. La loro analisi evidenzia due malacofaune distinte: la prima, nel livello a Lamellibranchi, più antica e risalente al Boreale, riguarda una fase di penetrazione di alcune specie e di colonizzazione del piccolo lago. La seconda, nel livello a Gasteropodi, durante il periodo Atlantico, evidenzia la successiva eutrofizzazione dell'ecosistema. È presente un'associazione faunistica tipica di stagni e di torbiere.

Abstract - Molluscs ofthe Holocene sediments at "Sasso" near Manerba del Garda (Brescia, Northern Italy). The sediments of the small basin of lacustrine origin localcd near Manerba, show two levels with freshwater snails and a few Iand species. The Molluscs denote two different associations; the first one, at the bottom of the stratigraphy and belonging to ilie Boreal period, concerns a phase of colonization of the small lake. The second and more recent association, related to the Atlantic period, shows the subsequent eutrophication of the ecosystem with a group of both freshwater and land snails, typical in ponds and peat mosses.
