Summary - Confirmation of the presence of' Pelobates fuscus insubricus Cornalia. 1873 in the province of' Varese (Amphihia, Anura, Pclobatidae). The Authors confirm the presence of Pc/obatesfìtscus insuhricus in the province of Varese (north-western Italy); they briefly describe the site and report some ecological and biometrical data concerning the specimens captured. This is the northemmost population known at present.
