EFFETTI DI SOSTANZE INQUINANTI
SU Anodonta cygnea L.

Riassunto - Nel corso di due anni è stata saggiata la resistenza del bivalve Anodonta cygnea al trattamento con tre sostanze che normalmente inquinano le acque dei laghi, cercando di identificare le dosi massime sub-letali di ognuna di esse. E' stata inoltre fatta un'indagine istologica sulle branchie e sul mantello per mettere in evidenza le alterazioni subite da questi organi, in particolare quando gli individui erano stati trattati con soluzioni di inqunianti a bassa concentrazione, ritenute cioè sub-letali.
Abstract - During the period of two years we have tested the resistance of the bivalve Anodonta cygnea to three substances usually polluting the lakes's waters, trying to identify the maximum sub-lethal dosis of each one of these substances. We have also effected an istological test on the branchiae and mantle in order to bring into evidence eventual morphological variations of these organs, particularly when the animals had been treated with toxic substances at low concentration, considered sub-lethal.
