Riassunto - Viene descritta nella presente nota Cryptobathyscia gavardensis nov. gen ..nov. sp. ( Coleoptera Catopidae) raccolta nella grotta Biis biisat ( 125 Lo-BS), situata nei pressi di Gavardo, nelle Prealpi bresciane (Lombardia). L'Autore discute quindi la situazione tassonomica del nuovo genere, rilevando le incertezze della sistematica dei Bathysciinae finora proposta dagli Autori.
Résumé - Cryptobathyscia gavardensis nouveau genre nouvelle espèce des Bathysciinae des Prealpes de Brescia. Dans le présent ouvrage, l'A. décrit Cryptobathyscia gavardensis nov. gen. nov. sp. ( Coleoptera Catopidae ), capturée dans la grotte Bus biusat ( 125 Lo-BS), située dans les environs de Gavardo, à la bordure meridionale des Prealpes de Brescia (Lombardie, Italie septentrionale). Ensuit, l'A. discute la situation taxonomique de genre nouveau, remarquand les défauts de la classification des Bathysciinae proposée par les Auteurs jusqu'à présent.
Abstract - Cryptobathyscia gavardensis new genus new species of Bathysciinae from the Prealps of Brescia. This article concerns the description of Cryptobathyscia gavardensis nov. gen. nov. sp. (Coleoptera Catopidae), found at the Biis biisat (125 Lo-BS), a cave which opens near Gavardo, in the Pre-Alps of Brescia (Lombardy, Northern Italy). The Author discusses the taxonomic situation of the new genus, pointing out the prohlems of the classification of the Bathysciinae so far proposed by the Authors.
