Summary - The artide contains a systematic list of all the animals from the caves of Piedmont (north of the Po river), Lomhardy, Trentino and the Veneto (west of the Brenta Valley). This first chapter includes the Protozoa, the Plathelminta, the ematomorpha, the Anellida and among the Arthropoda, the Arachnida and the Crustacea.
