Riassunto - Mediante il repertorio delle stazioni accertate in base a dirette ricognizioni, col sussidio di notizie dalla letteratura e la consultazioue di numerosi erbari, viene prceisato e delineato l'areale della Daphne petraea Leyhold, relitto terziario paleoendemico ad habitat estremamente specializzato e incapace di ulteriore espansione anche a motivo della propagazione prevalentemente agamica. L'area è limitata a un ridotto settore dell'Insubria orientale e risulta compresa fra gli estremi seguenti: long. E Greenw. da 10o48'24" a l0o22'42" lat. N da 45o45'29" a 45o49'16" altitud. da m 530 a m 2006 Precisate le affinità, vengono poi esaminati i caratteri morfologici della specie che ne rivelano l'impronta xerofitica, e quelli biologici che ne limitano la presenza in limitati biotopi e ne predudono la propagazione al di fuori di essi.
Abstract - The authors intend to determine the geographieal distribution of the Daphne petraea Leybold hy means of the inventory of the stations checked on the ground of direet rccognitious hy the aid of information drawn from spedfic literature on the subject and the reference of plenty of herharia. This species is a paleoendemie remnant of the Tertiary with an extremely special, habitat unable of further expansiou even because of its prevailing agamie propagation. The geographical distrihution is limited to a reduced area of eastern Insuhria and is comprized in the following geographical date: long. E Greenw. from 10o48'24" to 10o22'42" lat. N from 45o45'29" to 45o49'16" height from 530 m to 2006 m. After stating the affnities, are examined the morphological characters of the species that reveal its xerophitie mark and then the hiological ones that limit its presence in little typical ecological spots and prevent its expansion outside m.
