Riassunto – La Politica Agricola Comune (PAC) rappresenta da decenni lo strumento economico per il mantenimento e lo sviluppo dell’attività agricola europea. Da qualche tempo, le politiche comunitarie hanno integrato la loro visione con una più ampia panoramica che include, oltre alle tematiche produttive ed economiche, anche quelle strutturali ed ambientali. Con il Programma di Sviluppo Rurale (PSR), ciascuna regione è in grado di mettere a disposizione risorse volontarie utili per la crescita del settore agricolo ma anche per la tutela ambientale e la salvaguardia della biodiversità. In questo articolo verranno illustrate le potenzialità del PSR di Regione Lombardia e verranno evidenziate le opportunità offerte dal progetto LIFE IP GESTIRE 2020 per un utilizzo efficiente delle risorse al fine di favorire la conservazione di specie di flora e fauna dentro e fuori i siti di Rete Natura 2000.

Abstract – Biodiversity, ecological connectivity and agriculture: the agri-environmental measures of the Rural Development Program of the Lombardy Region. The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) is the most important economic instrument for the development of the agricultural sector in Europe. In the last times, the EU policies about productive and economic issues, have been integrated with the structural and environmental ones. With the Rural Development Program (RDP), each region is able to provide voluntary resources useful for the growth of the agricultural sector and also for the environmental protection and the biodiversity safeguard. This paper will illustrate the potential use of the RDP of the Lombardy Region and highlight the opportunities offered by the LIFE IP GESTIRE 2020 project for an efficient use of resources in order to favor the conservation of flora and fauna species inside and outside the Natura 2000 Network.
