HYDROPHILOIDEA E HYDRAENIDAE (INSECTA: COLEOPTERA) DEL BASSO CORSO DEL FIUME OGLIO (LOMBARDIA)

Riassunto - La presente indagine si lega a quella precedente effettuata da IMAZZOLDI (1987) sui coleotteri Hydradephaga dello stesso territorio. 51 specie di coleotteri acquatici Polyphaga, appartenenti alle famiglie Hydraenidae, Helophoridae, Spercheidae, Hydrochiidae, Sphaeridiidae e Hydrophilidae, sono state rinvenute in ambienti umidi lungo il basso corso del fiume Oglio, a sud del lago d'Iseo. I reperti coprono diverse lacune sulla distribuzione di molte specie e diverse di esse vengono segnalate per la prima volta per le provincie interessate o addirittura per la Lombardia. Vengono discussi i caratteri per la separazione di Cercyon convexiusculus STEPHENS, 1828 da C. stemalis (SHARP, 1918).

Abstract - Hydrophiloidea and Hydmenidae (Insecta: Coleoptera) of the lower course of the River Oglio (Italy, Lombardia). This investigation follows the work of IMAZZOLDI (1987) on the Aquatic Adephaga of this territory. 51 species of Polyphaga water beetles, belonging to the families Hydraenidae, Helophoridae, Spercheidae, Hydrochiidae, Sphaeridiidae and Hydrophilidae, have been found in wetlands along the lower come of the River Oglio, south of Lake
Iseo. These finds supply new information on the distribution of most of the species here treated, and some are recorded for the first time in the prainces concerned, and even in the Lombardy region in general. The characters for the separation of Cercyon convexiusculus STEPHENS, 1828 and C. stemalis (SHARP, 1918) are discussed.
