Riassunto - Nel presente lavoro viene descritta una mandibola di mammut proveniente dal fiume Oglio, in località Acqualunga. Le caratteristiche del molare sono quelle del tipico Mammuthus primigenius. Il reperto conservato a Padernello viene riferito ad una femmina morta ad una età compresa fra 20 e 24 anni.
Abstract - The present subject deals with the jaw of the mammoth from the Oglio river in the surroundings of Acqalunga. The molar characters we may consider it similar to the typical Mammuthus primigenius. The specimen from Padernello is a female, dead at an age between 20 and 24 years.
