ANALISI DEGLI ANDAMENTI NUMERICI DELLE POPOLAZIONI
DI PODICIPEDIFORMI (Podicipediformes) IN CAMPANIA

Riassunto - Viene presentato uno studio sull'andamento delle popolazioni di tre specie di svassi presenti regolarmente nelle zone umide interne della Campania nel corso dell'ultimo decennio: 1984-1994 per il periodo riproduttivo e 1984/1985 - 1994/1995 per il periodo dello svernamento. Le tre specie studiate sono: Svasso piccolo, solo svernante, Tuffetto e Svasso maggiore presenti sia con popolazioni nidificanti che svernanti. Le tre specie mostrano complessivamente una tendenza all'incremento, più accentuata nel periodo invernale. Il solo Svasso maggiore manifesta, oltre a un incremento numerico, anche un leggero incremento nel numero di aree colonizzate. Per la stagione riproduttiva relativa al 1994 sono risultate circa 30 coppie di Tuffetto e circa 40 coppie di Svasso maggiore, nell'inverno 1994/1995 sono stati censiti invece 56 Tuffetti, 51 Svassi maggiori e 40 Svassi piccoli.
Abstract - Hereby we presenta study on the prescnce of 3 species of Grebes populations wich have been regularly observed in the wetlands of the region Campania in the last 10 years: 1984-1994 for the breeding and 1984/85-1994/95 for the wintering. These 3 species are: Black-necked Grebe, only wintering, Little Grebe and Great Crested Grebe, whose populations have been observed both in the breeding and wintering seasons. Generally speaking all 3 species show an increase in number, even more substantial during the winter. Only thc Great Crested Grebe has showcd not only an increase in number but also in the colonized areas. In 1994 during the breeding season 30 pairs of Little Grebe amd 40 pairs of Great Crested Grebe were observed, while in the winter 1994/95 56 Little Grebe, 51 Great Crested Grebe and 40 Black-necked Grebe were observed.
