Riassunto - L'Autore descrive Monguzziella grottoloi n. gen. n. sp. di Leptodirinae (Coleoptera Cholevidae) raccolta nelle Prealpi Venete, in due stazioni del Trentino meridionale nei dintorni di Rovereto e in una sugli Alti Lessini veronesi. Il nuovo taxon si trova dunque ad essere a E del F. Adige e, per non appartenere a nessuna delle linee filetiche dei «teleomorfi» che caratterizzano tutte le Prealpi orientali, bensì essendo fileticamente affine a quanto noto a W della valle dell'Adige, pone un interessante problema zoogeografico.
Abstract - Monguzziella grottoloi n. gen. n. sp. of Leptodirinae from the Venetian Pre-Alps (Coleoptera Cholevidae). The Author describes Monguzziella grottoloi n. gen. n. sp. of Leptodirinae collected from the Venetian Pre-Alps, from two stations in the surroudings of Rovereto (Trentino) and from one station in the upper Lessini Hills. The new taxon is distributed to the east of the Adige River. It does not belong to any phyletic line of the «théléomorphes» (s. JEANNEL) that characterize eastern Pre-Alps, but is phyletically related to those known to the w est of the Adige V alley. Thus this discovery raises an interesting zoogeographic problem.
